Lil’ Falcons Cheerleading Camp is BACK! We’re inviting all K–6th grade West Burlington & Notre Dame students to come learn cheers, stunts, the Falcon fight song, and perform under the Friday night lights with our cheerleaders!

Camp includes:

* 3 practices
* Lil’ Falcons T-shirt + bow
* Halftime performance at the September 25 Varsity football game
* Lots of WBND Falcon fun!

Cali Pritchard & Mae Whipple, Notre Dame students, spoke to the Greater Burlington Partnership today about their participation in the Envision Experience youth leadership program held in Boston, MA. The Partnership members were very impressed with these two dynamic young women! Well Done Cali & Mae!

The Nikes are back in action today! Before we look ahead, let’s take a look back at a strong showing from our last meet in Keokuk.

Boys — 1st Place Team Finish!
Cavin Denney finished 2nd, Matthew Oleson 5th, and Liam Haeger 9th as the Nikes claimed the team title. Keaton Petersen (15th) and Gabe Andrus (18th) rounded out the scoring five.

Girls — 2nd Place Team Finish!
Hannah Ritter took 1st, Kaitlyn Kipp finished 2nd, and Jaidy Bowman placed 7th to lead the Nikes to a runner-up team finish.

Now, it’s time to build on that momentum! Go Nikes!

The Nikes are back on their home court tonight for our first home volleyball match of the season!

It’s also Youth Night, so we want to see all of our young Nikes in the stands cheering on the team!

At ND Elementary this year, we are starting a new Character Trait program. Each week, staff nominates students displaying the trait of the week and 2 names are drawn: one from Kinder through 2nd and another from 3rd-5th. Winners receive a certificate and free sandwich from Jimmy John's. Those who were nominated receive a free side from Jimmy John's. Our winners for the Kindness trait this week are Lincoln Watts from 1st grade and Ary Gopaul from 4th grade. Way to go boys! Congratulations to all who were nominated!"
