Congratulations to former ND teacher, and current Diocese of Davenport seminarian Alfonso Pizano! On August 2nd, Alfonso was ordained to the Diaconate by Bishop Dennis Walsh. Mrs. Maria Roth and Mrs. MJ Miller were among those from Burlington who attended the liturgy. God bless you, Alfonso!

Attention high schoolers, show choir auditions are coming up!

Tomorrow starts Family Week, July 27 - August 3! In short, our students will have a no-contact week, and all school facilities, including outdoor areas, will be closed. Students should not participate in any activities organized by or for the benefit of school programs. The Burlington Notre Dame Activities Department believes this is a very important week for our student-athletes and/or school-related activities to be able to unplug from activities and allow for time with family and friends. Reminder that Girls Tennis has now switched to the Fall. Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball seasons are starting soon. Here are important dates and information for the fall athletics: -Girls Tennis 1st Official Practice Monday, Aug. 4th -Competition starts Aug. 7th -Volleyball 1st Official Practice Monday, Aug. 11 -Team Camp starts Aug. 4th -Parent Meeting Aug. 4th @6pm Father Minett Gymnasium -Football 1st Official Practice Aug. 11th -Team Camp starts Monday, Aug. 4th, players are to be in the locker room by 5:45 pm -Parent meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 13th @5:30 Practice Field - Cross Country 1st Official Practice Aug. 11th -Summer Runs Continue find on Heja, code: MR-111105 -Show Choir Try-Outs Sat. Aug. 9th @ Noon -Junior High Information will come out after Family Week If you have not gotten your student registered for the 2025-26 school year, or for Fall sports. Please get them registered by Aug. 1st so we can check your student's required paperwork before the first day of practice. If Registration and paperwork are not completed, they can not participate in practice. Please register your student in all interested athletic activities through Notre Dame or West Burlington, or Burlington. They must be registered through Bound (Bound | Burlington Notre Dame Nikes High School Athletics). Enjoy your time with your family this upcoming week!
